Cape Point

Discover the scenic splendour that Cape Town has to offer on this tour. As you make your way down to Cape Point, you will find rugged coastlines, beautiful gardens and quaint villages. Perhaps an encounter with the local baboon population.

  • The Atlantic Seaboard: This length of coastline stretches along Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay where some of Cape Towns best beaches are found. The road follows the coastline between the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
  • The town of Hout Bay (Wood Bay), a small scenic town set in a picturesque bay. Here we may take an optional boat cruise to see a Cape Fur Seal colony.
  • Scenic drive through the world's most scenic route Chapman's Peak.
  • Continuing along the coast, we enter the Cape of Good Hope section (most south-westerly point of Africa) of the Table Mountain National Park, with its abundance of natural beauty. This is home to more than 2000 plant species and many species of animals, including antelope, baboon, ostrich and a wide variety of birds. We then go to Cape Point, the extreme tip of the cape peninsula where you may take an optional funicular trip to the lighthouse look-out point at the top of the cliffs
  • We then visit Boulders Beach to see the Penguin Colony before passing through the naval town of Simons Town
  • The trip also includes a stop at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, the foremost of South Africa's Botanical Gardens. (Optional)
